We added some art to our study of China. The kids have been practicing writing their names in Chinese all week. So, they made their own art using their names in Chinese. John made his like a city seal or crest. His name is written around the outside of the stars. 
Eric made the great wall in blue in the middle. He wrote his name in the middle of the blue and on one side of the wall is the Chinese while on the other is their enemies.
All of this was done in chalk. They are so creative.
